Songs & Chants

These are a few of the songs you’ll hear in the Kitchen on match day. There’s someone coordinating the section and drums to keep the rythm.

When the Blues Go Marching In

This can be done fast or slow. Usually a slow one is followed by an extra loud and quick one. This is sung a lot, and usually when the players walk out before the match. It’s usually sung a few times in a row.

Call: Oh when the Blues
Response: Oh when the Blues
Call: Go marching in
Response: Go marching in
Everyone: Oh when the Blues go marching in
I want to be in The Kitchen
When the Blues go marching in

Nowhere with you

The ‘na-na-na’ part gets repeated as long as people are singing.

Hey good looking!
Why the frown?
It always looks better when it’s upside down
You say you got nowhere that you’re going to
Can I go nowhere with you

Na-na-na-na-na-na (x3)
Can I go nowhere with you

Allez Allez Allez

The day I found you Wanderers
I fell in love with you
My heart was beating loudly
And that is how I knew

Those days have come and gone
But still I remain here
For I support the Wanderers
And I’m a Privateer

Allez Allez Allez (x4)

Stand up for the Wanderers

Used to try to get the rest of the stadium up on their feet. Should be used very close to the end of a half or in extra time when we’re winning or pushing for a goal. To the tune of ‘Go West’

Stand up for the Wanderers (x4)
